Is it saying nice things about your company? Well, let's hope so! The job of any logo is to communicate to your potential customers exactly what it is your company offers and the manner in which you offer it.

Are you an upscale corporation catering to executives and business men, or is your target audience male sports fans? Obviously, the approach you take in creating your logo will vary depending on your target market. Aligning your company image with its tone and message through proper logo design is crucial to the success of your business.

Here is an example of a logo concept we created for Domo Hotels & Spa. The request was for a logo that reflects class and top quality in hospitality. We were also told that these would be 3 and 4 star hotels located in business districts.

Another example is a logo concept submission for Femme Fatale, an online store that sells shoes, bags and accessories for women. The look and feel they wanted to convey was femininity, exclusivity and sensuality.

Let's take a closer look at this concept through our very own LESdesign logo. We want to communicate a message of "we are personable and fun while our service is high-quality and professional." Below we illustrate how the tone of the company could drastically change simply by changing the logo design. The various styles include simple, corporate, elegant, playful, antique, modern and edgy.

As you can see, identifying your target market and having a clear company image (pun intended) makes all the difference.

Does Your Website Sleep On The Job

Making Sure Your Website Pages CAN Be Displayed:

How many times have you followed a link from your favorite website only to arrive at a nearly blank screen showing the words, “ This Page Cannot Be Displayed ?” When the initial shock and/or confusion subside, you hit your browser’s back button and try again. Ever the optimist, you stare in disbelief at the same nearly blank screen and this time try hitting your browser’s refresh button. Again, no luck. Sadly, "This Page Cannot Be Displayed."

What actually causes this elusive error message, and more importantly, what if this happens to your website? First, let us address the cause. This particular error message can be caused by a variety of (technical) reasons. These range from (stick with me here) connection-related issues and firewall configuration, to browser compatibility and network plug-ins. Any way you slice it, it’s not good.

Now, how can we protect your site?

Your website is directly related to your income and we need to ensure your site is up and running at all times and accessible to anyone, anywhere, at anytime. Our ability to host the sites we build on our servers enables us to monitor your site along side ours (LESdesign.com). For example, we installed an active website uptime monitoring system to automatically check every 30 minutes whether this site is accessible or not.

The live results monitoring LESdesign.com are generated via the button below:

To some, the blank page is an intimidating space that could be filled in an infinite number of ways, so much so that it becomes paralyzing and accomplishes very little.

To us, it represents a plethora of exciting possibilities that can be shaped into a spectacular site when combined with our know-how and a new client’s vision.

The blank page is our playground. It gives our team the space to mold your new site in a safe environment with no preconceived notions and allows for endless suggestions, improvements and discussions. Our graphic designers tirelessly work to present you with a variety of logo designs for your feedback and approval while our web designers mock up some layouts complete with color scheme, menu navigation and font style. Shortly thereafter, our copywriter can take your page content and draft it up in the tone and voice that you want established for your business.

Before you know it, your ideal website has been drafted, created and published live on the web, with your input and guidance every step of the way. For your peace of mind, once your site is officially launch, we continue to stand behind it like a proud parent sending its child off to college for the first time [without all the nagging!].

So let us stare that blank page square in the face and fill it up for you.
